Jennifer Hill – Principal/Senior Recruiter
Jennifer Hill has spent the past 10 years as a professional recruiter and career coach, where she has been a top performing senior recruiter with a premier corporate and legal recruiting firm in Los Angeles.
Jennifer began recruiting in 2003 and has recruited for top tier law firms and corporations throughout California. In 2009, Jennifer was interviewed by KNX Radio, ABC Television and E! News, in addition to being a featured speaker for groups such as the Los Angeles Paralegal Association, International Management Consultants, Pink Slip Mixers and the International Association of Administrative Professionals. In 2010, Jennifer opened her own corporate/legal staffing company, JHill’s Staffing Services, Inc. Most recently, Jennifer was interviewed by BBC News Worldwide, ABC Sacramento & Honolulu, FOX Chicago and NBC Tampa.
What differentiates Jennifer from others in her profession is that she takes the time necessary to understand the needs of the job seekers and hiring managers she works with to ensure a symbiotic match is created. Jennifer has invested thousands of hours preparing job seekers of all levels for challenging interviews with top national law firms and Fortune 500 companies, and has placed thousands of job seekers into their dream positions.
Jennifer educates both her clients and candidates about the benefits of using technology and social media in recruiting and job hunting. She leads Social Media 101 classes to a variety of professionals on how to effectively use blogs and websites such as Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin for professional purposes.
Jennifer has earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California Irvine where she graduated a year early. She is originally from San Diego and has spent the last 10 years in Los Angeles where she resides with her husband Ian and Pomeranian dog, Polar. Jennifer is very passionate about contributing to her community and spends her spare time volunteering for organizations such as the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, SOS Mentor, Pink Slip Mixers and the Downtown Los Angeles Women’s Center. She was also nominated for Woman of the Year 2009 by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and was elected Chairperson of the American Wine Society in Los Angeles for 2007, 2008, 2009 & 2012.
Jennifer Marcinkowski – Director of Recruitment
A native to the Los Angeles area, Jennifer M. was born and raised in Manhattan Beach and graduated with top honors from ASU while interning for Merrill Lynch. Jennifer began her career as a legal recruiter for a Los Angeles staffing firm where she was responsible for overseeing a litigation support coding center in addition to support staff recruiting. She then spent almost 10 years with a local boutique staffing firm and focused on all facets of legal recruiting with an expertise in placing word processors, legal secretaries, administrative and executive assistants, entry-level candidates and HR professionals. There, she garnered many achievements including “Top Producer” and “Most Growth” awards. She now has more than fifteen years of legal recruiting experience in the Los Angeles area and is a tremendous asset in developing new clients and contributing to the successful growth of JHill’s Staffing Services. In addition, Jennifer has established key relationships in the legal community and has made a name for herself because of her ethics and industry knowledge. Jennifer was nominated for Biltmore’s Who’s Who / Professional and Executive Woman of 2008 and is active in many legal and staffing associations.
Scott Rosen – Recruiting Manager, Permanent & Temporary Division
Scott Rosen spent the previous ten years as a full cycle senior recruiter and account manager for a variety of industries, including manufacturing, health care, finance, technology, entertainment, legal and logistics. Prior to that, he worked as an associate casting director for different movies and television programs where he played an integral part in finding and placing dynamic actors in a variety of roles. He loves working with clients to fully determine their needs and helping potential employees take the next step to a fulfilling career. A native of Los Angeles, he received his Bachelor’s Degree from Occidental College and JD from Southwestern University. Scott has been with JHill’s Staffing Services for over three years and is a trusted member of our team.
Molly Winawer – Recruiter
Molly Winawer recently graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Psychology, and enjoys using her understanding and skills to approach recruiting from a psychological perspective. She has a background in research, customer service and non-profit human rights volunteer work. At UCB, she worked with underserved populations in order to help them locate work. In her current position, she brings her passion for helping candidates identify what position and environment is ideal for them. Molly is eager to contribute to the company’s growth and to support job seekers in landing their dream jobs.
Michael Mayfield – Junior Recruiter
Michael Mayfield was recently transplanted to Los Angeles from his hometown of Phoenix, AZ where he received his AA in Theater from Paradise Valley Community College. His work experience has been steeped in world class customer service, technical support and training. Having been an internal and external trainer, mentor for employee growth and development, and on boarding associate during his career he has fueled his passion for helping people. Michael is excited to put his unique skill set to great use, and bring happiness and career satisfaction to all of JHill’s Staffing Services clientele.
